Clip Dates is a brand of Social Media Marketing US LLC, based in Delray Beach, Florida. This notice explains what information we collect when you apply for membership or attend our events, how we use it, and the choices you have. Please also read our Membership Terms.

WHAT WE COLLECT

When you apply: your name, email, phone number, date of birth, city, zip code, occupation, social media profile link, photo, and your answers to our application questions, including your gender identity, sexual orientation, and who you would like to meet. At our events: general photos and video of the atmosphere.

HOW WE USE IT

To review your application, contact you about membership and events, plan balanced guest lists, and suggest connections. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

SENSITIVE INFORMATION

Your gender identity, sexual orientation, and dating preferences are treated as sensitive. During the application, they are seen only by the Clip Dates team. Once you are a member, they may appear on your profile, visible only to other approved members, so you can find the right people. They are never shown publicly, never used in advertising unless you separately agree to it, and never used to automatically reject an application. "Prefer not to say" is always an acceptable answer.

YOUR SAFETY

Clip Dates hosts events and makes introductions. We do not background check our members, and approval of a membership is not a statement about anyone's character or safety. In limited cases, we may run a background check on certain members solely for video production and the protection of our own team; these checks are not shared with members and should not be relied on by anyone. You are responsible for your own safety and your own decisions. Before meeting anyone privately, please do your own research, meet in a public place, arrange your own transportation, and tell a friend where you'll be.

WHO WE SHARE IT WITH

Only the service providers that help us run Clip Dates, such as our website and form provider (Wix) and our email provider, under their own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

EVENT PHOTOS AND VIDEO

General photos and footage of the atmosphere at our events may appear on our social media and advertising. We never publicly identify our members. Your own profile or video is never used in advertising unless you separately agree to it in writing. If you would rather not appear in event footage, tell our host at the event or write to us, and we will remove it.

HOW LONG WE KEEP IT

For as long as you are a member, and up to 12 months after a declined application or the end of your membership, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.

YOUR CHOICES

You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information at any time by writing to support@clipdates.com. We reply within 30 days.

​

AGE

Clip Dates is for adults over 40. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

​

CHANGES

If we update this notice, we will change the date at the top of this page.
